D.El.Ed. — Required Documents for Admission

Candidates selected for D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education) must produce the following original documents with one set of self-attested copies at the time of admission and document verification.

Merit / Selection Letter from JAC / DTE

Official selection/allotment letter from Jharkhand Academic Council or Directorate of Teacher Education

Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS — if applicable)

Issued by competent authority of Govt. of Jharkhand

Jharkhand Domicile / Residential Certificate

Issued by Circle Officer / BDO confirming residency in Jharkhand

NCC Certificate (if applicable)

NCC "B" = 2 bonus points; NCC "C" = 3 bonus points

Sports Certificate (if applicable)

State-level = 3 pts; National-level = additional points as per JAC rules

Medical Fitness Certificate

From a registered government medical officer

Aadhaar Card (original + self-attested copy)

Passport-size Photographs (6 copies)

Recent colour photographs with white background

Academic Requirements

Must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate / HSC) from a recognised board
Minimum 50% marks in 10+2
SC/ST candidates: 45% marks (5% relaxation)
Must be a resident of Jharkhand
Minimum age: 18 years at the time of admission
No maximum age limit

Merit Points System

Selection is purely on merit basis as per Govt. of Jharkhand rules. Additional merit points are awarded for:

NCC "B" Certificate	2 pts
NCC "C" Certificate	3 pts
Sports — State Level	3 pts
Sports — National Level	Additional (as per rules)

Seat Reservation: Selection follows Govt. of Jharkhand reservation policy. 85% seats reserved for domicile candidates. SC — 12%, ST — 26%, BC-I — 11%, BC-II — 6%, EWS — 10%.
